Thanks David Archuleta, you save my life every day. Without you I would be stone cold.

Because of David: I enjoy music once again. I enjoy knowing that David realizes he has a gift and to whom he is to be thankful. I am instantly cheerful when I listen to him. I'm glad to know that good things can happen to good people. I wish only great things for David and I will continue to follow him on his magnificent journey. I am alive because of this boys soul and spirit.

The Judgement Free Zone

David Archuleta has so many wonderful character qualities. One character quality that has stood out, is the one in which he never judges another. He only has good things to say about everyone. Even when he has been backed into a corner by an interviewer, David maintains his ability to stay positive and say only the nicest things in any situation. This was the case when he was asked by an interviewer to comment on American Idol Season 8 Runner up, Adam Lambert and his sexuality. Recently in the news, Adam revealed that he is gay. David gave his thoughts about it, and then he went on tell the interviewer, " I know it's always interesting and surprising and shocking [to people] when they say those things, but that's up to them, it's their lives." He then added that he thought Adam was a great guy and that he respected him as a performer. For David to say such things just shows what a special young man he is. David doesn't venture into judging the person's action, but rather focuses on the good qualities of the person. He doesn't lay judgement on Adam. Instead, he finds a way to answer the interviewers question in a simple non-judgemental way. Then he goes on to say something nice. There have been other examples of David's tolerant nature, this was just the latest one.I remember when David was on American Idol. Sometimes the judges were harsh on the other contestants but David never had anything negative to say, he always found the best in all of his fellow contestants. He would focus on the good things about the people around him. He remained fair and impartial through out it all. Even when the judges and the media would prod him, trying to lead him into saying something unkind about another contestant or celebrity, David never wavered. He never fell into their trap. Instead, he would find something kind to say, he would stay upbeat and say only the most positive things about everyone and everything. There have been other times when David has been pressed by the media to say something unfavorable about another star, but David is true to himself, and never gives in. He remains non-judgemental and replies with an answer that always leaves the interviewer commenting on "What a nice guy" David Archuleta is!I recall another example of David showing his impartial side. It was during the American Idol concert tour last summer. One day during a pre-show meet and greet while David was signing autographs, he overheard some fans commenting negatively about a popular singing group known as The Jonas Brothers. The fans were saying some rather unkind things about them, and when David heard these fan's comments, he said something like "Oh, I like them... they are really nice guys!" How many other stars might have gloated upon hearing their fans say something negative about a another singer? They might have stood back and listened, but I am not so sure they would have jumped in and come to their defense. But with David, I really do believe he is the exception. He heard the comments and tried to set the record straight so that these fans would know that he did not feel that way. He is a class act. There have been many incidences of David talking about others in a kind way, making sure to let others know he never judges. Again and again, David Archuleta has shown in interviews that he looks at the good, he tries to focus on the positive and does what he can to avoid saying anything negative. David accepts people for who they are. He stays in the judgement free zone every time!
